Church School life
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" Luke 6:31
We are a small village school in the beautiful, community minded village of Brightwell cum Sotwell. Our Christian culture underpins our school values and our drive to ensure that every child flourishes as they develop a life-long love of learning and our families have high levels of satisfaction with the links that the school shares with the church and local parish (Kirkland Rowell survey, June 2018).
Our current values, as can be seen on our "About Us" page, were chosen by the Senior Leadership Team upon becoming an academy in September 2017 and are due to be reviewed by the students in 2022-2023. Every half term sees a focus on one value which is explored in class as well as in our collective worships. Each value can be reflected upon by all of our students, regardless of their beliefs and strives for not only a life-long love of learning but so that we add value to our local community and wider society.
