As of Monday 1st June, we have welcomed back eligible year groups in addition to the children of key workers.

My child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 6. How do I know when they can come in to school?

All information has been shared with families via ParentMail. If you need further information, please don't hesitate in contacting the School Office.

I don't want to send my child back to school yet. Am I allowed to keep them at home?

Yes, the government has shared that there will be no penalties should parents make this choice.

My child is in Year 2, 3, 4 or 5. What should they be doing if they can't come in to school yet?

Please carry on with the home learning provided by your class teacher weekly.

For children in Years 2-4 the children can join a Daily Check In virtual meeting and now upload their work to Purple Mash. The class teacher can view and comment on their work and it can be shared to the Class Noticeboard and Hall of Fame.

For children in Year 5 who are able to work more independently, we will be contacting you soon about how we can give you more contact with Mr Brown.

I am a key worker. Can my child come in to school?

If you are a key worker required for the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, then we will do all we can to provide your child with a space at school on the days childcare is required. All key workers were asked to identify themselves at the start of the school closure and share their employer details.

I'm not a key worker. Can I send my child to school?

Until the government has changed the guidance, all other children are to remain at home and not attend school.

How do I know the school is doing everything it can to reduce the risk for my child in school?

In order to re-open for the eligible year groups, we have undertaken extensive risk assessing and planning to ensure the risk is reduced for children, staff and parents. You can find a list of the documentation undertaken here.

I have further questions relating to the school's response to COVID-19. How can I have these answered?

Please contact the school office,, and Mrs Major will forward your question to Mrs Lewis.
